Originally from Helsinki, Finland, Noora moved to Scotland in 2017. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Film and Media from Stirling University and a Master's in film editing from Napier University.

Noora works as an editor in documentaries and short scripted dramas, driven by a deep curiosity for the human psyche, feminism, a commitment to environmental and conservation issues, and a passion for stories that illuminate our shared humanity. 

​

She has worked on several feature documentaries as an assistant editor, organising and preparing extensive multi-year footage archives to give directors and editors a seamless start. Her strengths lie in detailed project organisation, strong technical ability, and creative problem-solving.

 

She's currently an assistant editor at Hopscotch Films, where she supports the post of each production, while also dabbling in graphic design, archive improvement and digitising analogue media.

Beyond editing, she creates motion graphics and VFX for kinetic titles, web visuals, short animated pieces, and social media assets. No matter the form, her work centres on thoughtful storytelling.
